Some of the rubber strip around our door frame has come away from the door frame, also the rubber seal around the front locker has also come away. We popped into B&Q and Halfords to find a suitable adhesive only to be met with row upon row adhesives. Can anyone recommend an adhesive to stick rubber to aluminium and rubber to acrilyic.
 
Get a good contact adhesive, I use a Unibond one which allows a small degree of repositioning if you dont get it spot on first time.
 
Hi,

I'd advise against using silicone RTV sealant on aluminium.

Silicone releases acetic acid during the cure process and this will etch (corrode) aluminium.
