Adria Adora 612UP insurance

Friends of ours picked their new caravan up yesterday. They rang the caravan club to insure their van and were told they don't insure these vans because they are long vans on a single axle.They are now insured with caravanguard. Can anyone shed some light as to why the CC would not insure these vans?

Having recently insured my Adora 612 up with the caravan club, I was surprised to hear of your friends experience. Having checked with the caravan club since there position has not changed.

I found the Adora 612up very stable to tow and have had only a few minor problems in terms of build quality.
