Hi my partner and I are new looking to buy a caravan to live in. We are interested in a longer length around 26ft with fixed bed etc plus shower/toilet. Does anyone recommend a model or another brand as we are having trouble finding one for less than 6k?

Also we are going to have to power our caravan independtly via gas and a generator. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to do this and if it is economical? All advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
 
The only advice I can give Karen is wherever you choose to site the van check out if it's ok to use a generator. These are frowned upon by most sites and other caravanners because of the noise. In the time we've been caravanning, and that's in places from Marazion to Dachalm, we've only encountered a generator once and that was at Black Knowl. Thankfully the chap only stayed one night.
