Advice on Hitch Change Please

I have a 2001 Sterling Sapphire which has the standard Alko hitch on it. It says "Coupling Head 605363" in the booklet supplied. I was using a Bulldog 200Q stabiliser

I have recently changed cars and have fitted a Westfalia Auto Detachable tow bar kit. This has a fairly square section profle and I cannot fit the Bulldog clamp adaptor

I know I could tow as is, but I would rather have some form of stabiliser fitted and I'm looking to change the hitch to one of the ones with the built in stabiliser.

Can anyone advise what will fit.

Thanks

Hi David

If i understand you your looking to replace the hitch on you van we changed ours using the Alko 3004 triple pack ,you get a couple of extra bit & seems good value, We also had a factory fitted detatchable towbar on our previous car and it worked perfect and was and also the Alko hitch was a doddle to fit.

Hope this is of some use to you

Cheers Mike

Thanks for that.

I really like the idea of no muckky tow ball as my little girl always seems to brush against it, no matter how hard I try to stop her.

Cheers.......David
