Sorry to hear of your predicament. Did you obtain in writing the pitch allocated to you, or was it just word of mouth. Unfortunately, some sites run on a first come first served basis which can cause all sorts of problems.

I understand that you are having your caravan 'delivered'. Is this because you are unable to tow it yourself?

We owned a large caravan which was 'sited' for us by the dealership due to the fact that we could not tow it legally in the UK. Fortunately, we were able to sell it reasonably quickly, as we were not able to relocate it to an alternative site. Hobby caravans are notorious for being stolen and many sites will not have them on seasonal pitches.

We returned to touring and vowed never again to go down the route. Yes, we would have a seasonal pitch but would never purchase a caravan which we personally could not pull off for various reasons.

Hope the site find goings well.

Ann
