We normally tour around on a five or six week annual trip, in Europe, sometime in spring/early summer.
This year, after lots of discussions (some hotter than others ! ) we've settled on six weeks in Spanish coast during January and February 2017. The reason being that, in theory, the weather on the Med coast should be better than the Atlantic coast, and the sun should be shining, hence Portugal was shelved for this trip.
Has anybody stayed on the coast between (say) Fuengirola and Alicante during the winter months ?
I'm looking for a site, preferably on or near the coast that's not, as some are described, verging on a travellers stop over ! Any help would be appreciated and would probably prevent a divorce :)

Plenty of sites in the ACSI book, and well worth the cost as you get a very good discount. The only thing I would say, that the good sites will now be fully booked for the winter, as most go year upon year. So get the Acsi book from Vicarious Books , ready for 2017 , and enjoy your trip
