hi, not just the spike, the procedure JTQ describes is for taking the whole ariel off the roof and is correct exept for removing the plug off the coax the hole in the shaft is big enough "just" to withdraw it with the coax, if you have the kit that came with the van there should be one allen wrench 2spare scews and a red plug in a plastic bag together with instructions,Len_Cuff said:OK thanks, didn't realise the spike unscrewed๐
My van that had that aerial did not have a big enough hole for the pigtail coax plug to pass through the caravan's roof.
