We have a Vango but it is only the 280 had it 6 years without a problem and it has the extra canopy that we leave connected.
You could go for the Issabella but get a mortgage first;)
We also had a Vango Varkala ll 280 porch awning that we Sold the new owner never had any problems .

Another vote for Vango. We had the Kalari 420 initially and then changed to the Riviera 390. I was worried about it being slightly smaller but as the Riviera is square rather than angled at the corners we find we have more usable space. We have 2 annexes which we regularly use when our sons and their partners come away with us - absolute game changer for us as we can all have our own space and congregate when we want to. The Riviera is much a better quality fabric than the Kalari and after spending many hours deciding whether to change to a different manufacturer we spent a weekend trawling around showrooms - Vango was still the one for us and we're very happy with it.

Ours is the Varkala connect with a single air hoop sun canopy We went with this size to avoid windows and it is just right for us The quality is great which probably accounts for the 38 kilo weight.
I found that the sloping ground problem can be negated by careful packing under the lower beams

Glossop caravan awning will beat any price on the awning you choose, got mine from there and beat the cheapest on line price I found.

I have had a Sunncamp Air volution 390 for 6 years now. Not a single issue, sturdy thick fabric.
As far as condensation is concerned I have found it to be an issue if erected over grass, bot not any issue on gravel etc. Decent overnight ventilation keeps the condensation down a lot if over grass as well.
I have had poled and air, personally I much prefer air, but if on a seasonal then it woud be poled every time.
Air can be heavy, but we manage ours (at 28kg) without any problem at all, but its always a two person job, Mrs P feeds the beading in whilst I pull it through (I use tge caravan step to gain a bit of height, (I'm 5'10")
Both aged 70 and reasonably fit with no health issues,
Pay your money, make your choice, no right or wrong answer, just different ones.

I agree with you Mr P. Having had numerous poled awnings and while erecting the last one the wind caught the pole and we ended up with a lovely dent in the van wall.
Changed to an air, Kampa Air 400. Heavy to put in and out of the car, we erect it the same as you do. I pull it through with dogs lead, blow it up with the Gale pump and ten minutes of putting pegs in.
While in our mid 70s and still fit enough we will still carry on with the Kampa.

We had the lightest Air Awning after many poled Awnings. The Outdoor Revolution was light weight and has Pressure relief valve to reduce pressure in high temperature to prevent bladder damage. We used it for 4 years and never a problem and stood high winds well as able to flex. We were on one cliff top site with 70 mph winds with no trouble where many poled awnings were damaged,. The only reason for selling it,was bought new smaller caravan and do not bother with awning any more, as in 80’s and travel light nowadays.Often now spending as little of a couple of nights on some sites before moving on to next site which may be a bit longer,

IMO, The Dometic air awnings are better - we have never had any issues with them.

They also option for an annexe and a load of other accessories
We have a Dometic 360....it withstood a fierce thunderstorm with strong winds and pouring rain overnight last year when we were at Old Oaks ( fabulous site by the way).
I use the big metal shepherds crook type jobbies to tie it down and they hold fast very well.
