Mrs V and I are thinking about getting an Air Fryer for use at home, but does anyone takes there's away to use in the caravan?

Yes we do, in our Panel Van, but not the "home" one as thats a bit big.
We take a small one thats just big enough for 2 (the air fryer not PVC !) purchased from Lidl for about £25. It complements the Remoska which also gets used a huge amount at home (that only draws 400 watts so very handy when on 6a supply) .
In addition we take a single induction hob away with us, so our gas consumption is pretty minimal when on site/EHU.

Yes we have a small one for the caravan which gives us extra cooking capacity over and above the oven. At home we have a larger one which is generally more useful. I am looking at getting a Go Chef multi cooker for the caravan as I think it could be more useful and versatile than a pure air fryer.

If you use one in the van or even in the awning, be very careful about the heat exhaust. Seen some horror pictures on FB where an air fryer has damaged the wall board when used in the kitchen area or the outer van skin when used close to the van in an awning.

Depends on your definition of noisy! They have a fan which circulates the hot air within them, they are by no means silent but not particularly noisy either, think in terms of a hair drier on low is my best description.

We had the Ninja Air Fryer Max AF160UK in our caravan. Did not take up much space and hardly heard it operating. We also had a small George Foreman grill 1300w and both could operate at the same time provided the the site was at least 10amp although 16amp was preferable.
Although we have the Ninja Foodi Max we now use both in tandem at home. The foodi max can take the bigger items like roasts etc.

I use my Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK specifically for my Caravan. Obviously you have to be careful what you run with it, eg: toaster and microwave, but it serves us lovely, just use it and make sure your power output (on your control panel) does not exceed the top level of your site.
I think we've decided on a Tefal Dual Basket machine. Too big to take in our small caravan but then mostly wanted it for home anyway.

just in case you re-consider, i have a two birth swift 480 and my Nija air fryer goes under my seat on the left standing in it and facing forwards. I also have all my tools and the bedding, so the Ninja is both the Rolls Royce of air fryers and fits neatly away

They are cheaper to use compared to a home oven, as they are smaller, used sensibly, cooking meats and veg they are great.
Just like a microwave, cooking veg is cheaper than cooking them on a hob in a pan.
