Are the red and black soft docks interchangeable?

Reason I ask is the black one on my stabiliser has lost the pad wear marks, cleaned off. Whereas the red one has the marks moulded into it, so will not wear off ,

The red are supposedly interchangeable but I had to replace mine black with black as I couldn’t find a red with the moulded colour bars. The black is rubbish quality in that respect.
