Al Ko Stabiliser

I have a Sprite Apline 2 fitted with an AlKo 3004 stabiliser, I have covered approx 7000 miles. Recently I have noticed that the left hand(off side) stabliser handle has been lifting during towing. I have checked the Alko website and carried out all the checks suggested and they are all ok. Nothing appears to be touching. Anybody any ideas.

Have you checked that the towball is an Alko one with the extended neck? I can remember reading somewhere about the stabiliser handle/s lifting if a non Alko towball has been fitted.

Thanks for your suggestions. Yes the towball is an AL KO extended neck and was fiited by the caravan supplier. I have not checked the diameter but will get it checked.
