Planning a route from Calais to Albufeira in late January. Can anyone suggest a route with sites that are open all year.

Can't suggest a particular route, as haven't 'done' Portugal - but there a website - Campsites on the Major routes - which gives details of all sites within 15km of the main routes through Europe, including their opening dates. Hope this helps.

Hi Chris

The Caravan Club site guide (caravan europe 1) shows all the sites open in winter, it is a matter of planning your route.
