At that price - snap it up! Bought for the caravan, we use ours at home too - saves heating the oven just for two of us. We have a remoska too. Love them both.

Just given ours, which we bough last year, to the wifes sister. Very heavy glass base and got little use by us and it also took up a lot of space. We much prefer our Remoska, light and smaller, just the job for two.

my wife has the Remoska , and the Halogen cant go wrong with 3 year guarantee , and we have a Tefal actifry , she says the Halogen oven is more versatile than the Remoska , but we do tend to take the actifry away more often

Before you buy have a look on amazon at the Andrew James one, 12L , spare bulb, 2 year warrenty , £50 of extras aswell for £39.99 so it might be worth that extra £10.00 the review are very good aswell most buy this one after there's packs up.
I would like to hear more from others about what they cook in it and what's it like. I've always fancied one aswell home and to take away x

Decided to get one and give it a go, considering all the good reports on here.
Only problem seems to be that the fan is particularly noisy, to the point of being a nuisance.
Is this typical?
Is yours noisy?

Sir Gab WC

I have noticed there is a diference in noise when you put the extension ring on as well, the fans are quite powerful but the noise should be even like a fan oven, any elctric fan or extractor - if the noise is uneven or rattles then there is a problem, but with all that air being forced around & if you are stood watching it

like i have done you will hear it ............

Our microwave makes a noise, it is coming from the back where a fan is mounted in a very little bearing, put your finger on the back plate when it does it & it stops, it's all of the very thin pressed steel what seems to amplify the noise,

Just tried it with a frozen ready meal,

Yum !

Gonna have to stop all of this food tasting

Pizza is brill, nice & dry with a crisp base

All in all it's just a portable oven,

Have returned mine today, just wouldn't heat up, halogen illuminated for a few seconds then off and on, suspect 'cos fan wasn't starting up and halogen must have been seeing overtemp. No matter what we tried couldn't get oven to temp to cook in. Took it back and of course no more in, got cash back and shall have to see if they get any more in.

Hi, dunno if any of you shop at Costco. They had Halogen ovens in at £23 odd today. Flying off the shelf they were. Bought one for my daughter to save on her electricity
