ALKO 1300 AKS hitch

I a considering fitting a ALKO 1300 AKS hitch to my van but when reading up on the fitting instructions i noticed they are not sutible for caravans with a 360 degree rotating shaft, dose anyone know what this means? any help would grate.
 
Modern hitches present no problems its the older B & B type etc that you can turn the coupling round and round (i e you can turn it so that you can look down into the cup that goes onto the towball)
