Alko AKS3004 measurements

Hello! Just wondering if someone with an Alko 3004 hitch can do me a favour. I'm fully aware of the minimum clearance of 68mm from centre tow all to bumper, and my witter tow bar on my Merc C220 estate has 70mm. In preparation for picking up my new Elddis I was wondering if someone who actually has a 3004 could measure from the front of the hitch to the centre of the hole for me please? Just interested of the tolerance involved and the actual dimensions I can't find online anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

I think you will fine making such a measurement is nigh on impossible as the centre of the hole is not defined. I think you can be well assured that if Alko state you need a minimum of 68mm clearance, then your 70mm will be more than fine.

Ok. Thank you for your help

I don't see any ambiguity regarding the centre of the hole, as when you view the stabiliser assembly from the side, there's a round black plastic cover, the centre of which is in line with the centre of the hole.

Measurement as requested Buster ...

Hope this helps to put your mind at rest.
