Hi. I have a flashing red light on my alko atc, when connecting to the car it makes a noise and tries to go green but flashes red again. Any thoughts on what i can do to get the lights to go green again. I've tried to unplug it for a few seconds and replug in again, but still no joy. its in storage at the moment so not sure if its ok to move it.
Thanks in advance.

It is explained on the Alko website. Just search “Alko ATC reset”. It’s also in the manual too if you have one.

APG, , welcome, pull forward, then reverse a small amount and then forward again. . If the light is still flashing. Hand brake on and unhook disconnect. Etc.. try all again. It happens all the time. .
Good luck.

The van should not be towed with the red LED flashing. It is I believe a warning that the system "may" not have mechanically cleared the application of the brakes, thus even if it can be hauled the brakes may be dragging enough to cause drum and general hub area kit "burnout" when towed.
Their advice if towing is required is to get underneath to the actuator unit and using spanners back off the push rod clear. There should be info online found by a bit of Googling.
Edit: here it is:

Solid red is not so critical, with that it can be towed but is not operative at that time, but in my few instances it readily self-cures by easing forward and slowing gently.
