I have decided to take the plunge and have the Alko ATC Trailer Control fitted at their Warwickshire factory. The earliest date I could get that fit in with my shifts and holidays was 15th July!
The confirmation letter came through the post today along with instructions about how the ATC receives it's power. It states that pins 3 and 4 of the 12S socket need to have a permanent 12V supply otherwise the ATC will not work.
Now I know that pin 4 is live but pin 3 is normally an earth. Is it easy to make pin 3 permanently live and in doing so, would this cause any problems?
