Alko ATS led

The led is a 2wire ,would I be right in thinking that it shows green 1 way and red when the polarity
Is reversed?

Correct. I obtain them from Railway Scenics website as they use them for model railway signals Fit a 470 ohm resistor in one leg wire and this stops them blowing as when Alternator is charging at 14+ volts this I’d why they blow. Never had one I have changed for many friends fail again yet,

These two items required. Solder resistor in one leg and then cover with heat shrink sleeving or I you don’t have any use insulating tape to keep dry. Pic of one I’ve done
