Alko manoeuvring handle

Hi
I wonder if anyone has any experience or views on the use of this handle.
I believe it clamps onto the jockey wheel shaft and enables one to get a good purchase when manoeuvring the front of the caravan, instead of just holding the actual jockey wheel shaft.
Any information would be gratefully received.
Best regards
Tom

Yes it clamps onto the jockey wheel shaft and provides a clean and if necessary two handed grip. But does not reduce the van weight or anything like that ( only joking). Don't use it any more - if the van is that difficult to move - fit a mover. Read all the stuff on the forum about movers - the general opinon which I certainly share compares them favourably with sliced bread.

Hello sedo, totally agree with what Ray S says. The handle makes life much easier. We have a motor mover as well as the handle but sometimes it's easier just to give the 'van a little 'tug' with the handle rather than engaging the mover. Perhaps the best way to put it is that if the handle broke tomorrow I'd go and get another one!!!

have one and use it it saves tugging the vans handles and risk stress cracks also can help with the jocky wheel falling down as some have seen.

I now have a motor mover, the grab handle, though a little faded, is in the garage. If you plan to visit Longleat or the Warminster area soon ask a moderator to put you in touch with me and you can have it.
Regards
Jo
