alko wheel lock

been trying to find out from web w/out success.

Does the brake drum on a 2009 Avondale Dart have the fitting for this form of wheel lock? I know I would need to fit alloys and I know alko does the lock for the Avondale alloys but will I have to buy the backing plate? Wish I had looked at the show now.

Thanks

Hi,

I doubt you have a 2009 avondale as they have gone bust if you have see your dealer he has ripped you off. if its just the wrong year you have put try the avondale owners forum where i know someone wil steer you in the right direction

It may be of interest but I recently asked for a receiver to be fitted to the offside of my Alko axle while it was in for repair and stripdown at Alko

Thanks for that. Yes bought one at the show on Friday last. As I said on another forum we were in two minds about which van to buy (which is why we went to the show) but looking at the prices of the Dart we jumped in. Went and had a look at wheel locks/clamps yesterday and came to the same conclusion as David. Not worth the hassle of changing wheels etc etc so will take your advice and go for Bulldog. Being first timers we have a lot of kit to get before the first time out. Have to say that I'm impressed with Towsure. Ordered Tuesday (Alko towball, and second skt) and they arrived today; and their prices seem good.
