Alloy wheels

Hi i have a Vanmaster 1998 vintage ,i am looking at getting alloy wheels to replace the steel rims ,being its an Alko chassis would wheel centres and hole spaceings be the same for most chassis or what would be the best way to source some for my van.

I know that if you remove an alloy to fit a steel wheel you need tio change the bolts. I assume it applies the other way around.
 
Yes you do need new bolt / nuts for aluminium wheel rims they are a different flange fitting.

I had to do the same on my Disco when I chaned from steel to aluminium

Think you can use the bolts from alloy rims on steel wheels.
That's what I was told when questioning what bolts to use on a steel spare when the road wheels where alloy.

I'm sure someone with definate answers will be along soon.

Our caravan which has alloy wheels came supplied with bolts in the event that the steel spare wheel needs to be fitted. I have to assume that you cannot use bolts from alloy trims on steel wheels therefroe it stands to reason it cannot be used the other way around.
