alternative tow car

hi can anyone recormend a towcar for a 2004 coachman amara 520/4 max mtplm is 1450kg were currently using a 200 vaxhall frontera 2.2 dti and were looking for something a bit smaller n cheaper to run were a family of four with two large dogs so has to be estate sort of car with about £4500 to spend we havent got a clue really only been touring for 3 years

VW Passat is a little weedy, weight wise, for your Coachman. An X-Trail is still a 4x4 but considerably more economical than a Frontera. Your budget will get you a choice of the more desirable 2.2DCi models. Ensure you are looking at the 4WD models as 2WD ones were available and although they tow very well, they are quite a lot lighter.

Hope that helps
