Do you mean like get a clairvoyant in? I'm up for that.

Lisa
No, Lisa! In the House of Commons, They refer to the House of Lords as "that other place"! A clairvoyant might make as much sense as they do though.

Lisa,do you really read the news of the world or where you just checking to make sure the story is not in there yet about you and the lobster!

As for his Lordship it really is a worry because I understand his staff have not been paid and the locks have been changed on the big house.

Ladies and gentlemen - I requested the Mods to e-mail our good friend Lord B. some while ago (see "Chit Chat" F.A.O. Mods 1,2 & 3) to enquire of his well being and absence from this site. Has anybody any ideas of the other forums he contributes to in order to see if he is still active with them? Could be worth following up.

Hi Plotter

No, I don't read any newspapers at all (or look at the pictures in the case of the Sun and the News of the World). That is because when I was a civil servant, The Daily Mail launched a hate campaign against the department I worked in and it ended up with our section receiving hate mail, syringes and human mess through the post. It was horrendous, all stirred up the by Daily Mail. But the sad bit is most of what they printed did not have an ounce of truth to it. Of course, they never reported that we had to have the police in on numerous occasions to take away the hate mail and other items. It's not a nice feeling when you have an advisor from the bomb squad come to see you to advise on what to do with a suspicious packages etc.

Now get your violin out!!!

Lisa

I still think we should get a clairvoyant in. We could all chip in and have a cyber circle. He's bound to come through.

There's a psychic chap on one of the Sky channels. Maybe someone ought to contact him. He seems rather convincing.

This might work (he hates the hunting set:

Lord B, did you see that programme on Channel 4 last night at 9pm about casualties (animals) being taken and or killed for the hounds? What is your opinion on that?

If that question above doesn't bring him back, this is something I've been keeping up my sleeve in case emergency measures were needed:

Hi Lord B - I'm going to Appleby Horse Fair. Would you like to meet me and all my gypsy friends? We could have a great laugh in the pubs (I know you don't take a tipple normally but I;ll buy you a good malt). We could sit by the river and watch the gypsies trotting at great pace up and down the main street. Would you like to go up to fair hill with me and meet a few gypsies?

Lisa - His grace Lord B., if my memory serves me correct, is not a gentleman who partakes of fine malt. I seem to recall that he made a staement some time ago denouncing the pleasures and benefits of a fine malt in reply to one of my postings. I am not sure what his tipple is - in fact I seem to recall him saying that he was virtually tea total nowadays.

Colin, I did the same thing on "our website". Mr Mod, did you comply with my request to send Lord B my email address?

I get increasingly worried about you Lisa what with lobsters ,satin lined throws, mentions in the red tops and cream on the seat covers all very worrying but not as much as our concern for the missing lordship, perhaps on this bank holiday weekend we can all scour all the caravan sites for a 2004 Abbey GTS Vogue pulled by a Passat and owned by a distinguished looking gentleman the ermine upholstery in the van and car should be the clincher that it is he.

He could be hiding at the new "maplins" developement in Holmer road, Hereford.

Having raised the port culis on Grey friars bridge and straying north of the border (river wye), he could of mistaken the maplins site for a campsite of simlar name. May be Colin (Bridge end) has joined as entertainments officer?

Or is it that he is galavanting around the country in the sunshine.
