And now for something completely different.

This concept was marvellous when you consider how long ago it was designed, it allowed small cars to safely tow a decent size van.
When you consider the modern 5th wheel caravans we seem to have gone backwards as you need a BIG pickup to tow one.
 
Well, its certainly cute, but not sure how safe it really is. Most cars specify a maximum roof load and I am picturing a fulcrum effect pushing against the car with the added leverage of height. May be totally wrong on this, physics never was my thing.
