Hi All

Is it me or are there a lot of very very angry people about out there.

Are they putting something in the water. What is going on. I have noticed the last 12 months people going into rant and rage for no good reason. In all walks of life from shopping, driving, walking on the pavement, any thing just sets people off.

Some are totaly out of control. Has any body else notice this?

In recent times I've lost family due to failures with health care due to our pathetic government. Not only do you lose loved ones and family, add up hospital parking charges and call charges and you've paid for the killing!

Savings and pensions have been robbed by Brown and Blair.

We all pay more and more for council taxes and utility bills, just more stealth taxing for no extra return or service.

Manners and good behaviour seem to get worse. Every way I turn somebody is telling us what to do or what not do rather than being left to our own choices.

B***** Health and Safety and PC piffle, if I want to sit with my feet hooked under the bed end, hanging out the window painting the soffit boards or collect my morning paper on my unicycle without wearing a safety hat it's my choice.

We also have the credit crunch and jet set limo driving fat cat w/b ankers and politicians etcetera on bonuses or consultancy retainers and fat expenses claims telling us to be more green and add insulation to cut crippling heating bills.

Then some ------------------ trying to tell me that my car choice is wrong c(r)o(wing)2 wise.

My local pubs have closed, so I can't walk to the pub for a drink any more. Hell, who cares about the pub? No time now as I have to seperate the magazines and newspapers, milk container tops from the container, ali and steel cans, sort out the composting and arrange waste in 3 different containers and take them down the drive as the H&S time managed refuse collector in his dayglo outfit is to darn lazy to come and collect it despite all the money I now pay his employers.

They also wake me up with the reversing bleeper, the bin hoist alarm and the yellow flashing light on the bin lorry cab roof. 20 tonnes plus of yellow and green lorry, can people not see it or here the noisy engine?

Some no brain local planners gave planning permission for nearby housing developments 40 years ago, the've now decided that they cause flooding and that neigbours and I are responsible for maintaining a water course that has not existed for over 100 years on our garden boundary.

Taking the right turn to my village at a roundabout with my right turn indicator on sme on coming drivers have now decided that they have the right of way. Aggresive looks, fist waving, two finger salute, steering wheel thumping go to show their anger towards us. This week I parked my car on the roundabout and got out and went had words with a 30 something Audi driver.

Am I angry? NO NO NO lol

I'm sure other can add more.

Its like a smouldering bomb out there. Scared to move. Its these kind of feelings that will drive people to seriously rebel. Maybe even an uprising of the people. Sounds ridiculous? Check your history, it can happen. I can't believe the government sit back watching everybody with these feelings of anger. If they don't do something then the people will.

I'm no great historian but I understand that (and although its completely different), it was the harnessing of peoples feelings in pre war Germany that allowed Hitler to get into power.

I blame the soaps and some newspapers. Soaps have been round for long enough now for younger people especially to have grown up with them. There is not one which is not predominantly viscious language in relationship, people only out for their own ends with no consideration for anyone else and this gives the impression that this is normal life. Couple that with claiming for every 'accident' which has been caused by someone else and newspapers constantly whipping up bad feelings with mis-represented items and thus, WE HAVE THE RESULT.

I will say I was suffering a bit of rage the last couple of days. I have been watching these banker chaps on the tv getting a grilling from MPs. I found my self getting very very hot under the collier and talking to the TV would you beleave. These chap,s and there lack of knowledge of what was going on. On there watch, in there banks, under there control.

I will have to have a lie down now.

Calm down dear, it's all a diversion.

The 'Tipping Point' of global warming is now behind us - El Gordo ( our beloved leader, not the Spanish Lottery ) and his cohorts are throwing out all manner of diversions to divert our attention so that by the time that we compliant trolls notice that the entire population of North Africa and most of Europe are marching through the Channel Tunnel armed to the teeth with the intention of escaping the Australian type fires on the other side of the channel, the chosen ones will be ensconced in the newly-built command bunker under a mountain situated in the south island of New Zealand.

Enjoy what little time you have left..!

Two things worry me greatly.

1. You all seem to drink wine..... not British. Drink only Harvey's Old (in the winter )or abstain completely

2. You seem to think to think that an ' apology ' by bankers will resolve something..... it won't.

They did you, ( and me) proud, for about ten years, and no one complained then, so let's all have another pint of Harvey's, and stop moaning.

The real reason, in simple terms, why everything has gone tit's up, is because, at the end of the day you cannot run a family, a country, or a world, on endless tick. At the end of the day, someone has to pick up the tab.I've said it for year's, and, sadly,I've been proved right.

It's irrelevant where the wine comes from Clockwork. It is the tipple of those from foreign parts. When we all drank ale, and left the kids on seats outside pub's, we had an empire...... half the world was pink on the maps. Then, in 1947, we turned to lager, and Mounbatten sold off India, ( Ice Cold in Alex has much to do with this), We should revert to the old ways of mild, bitter and porter - and leave the wines for the continentals and Caravan Club members!

Even those that buy British would be surprised if they knew where their purchase (or bits of it) actually can from. Not a single Ford or Vauxhall (other than the 5-door Astra) is built in the UK. As for components, these often have a veritable odyssey behind them, before they go into the car. Just as an example, take something nice and simple like the glass (Pilkingtons, that's British?). The raw material invariably comes from Belgium. This is turned into flat glass in, say Italy, cut to size and bent in, perhaps, Germany. Sometimes, the moulding around the outside is supplied by the glass manufacturer as well and that could come from the Czech Republic before the whole unit is installed in, wherever. The same can be said for almost any other product. Even the wine bottle that holds the English wine probably came from abroad.

Dead right. People have forgotten how to be civil, patient and who the real paymaster is. The fat cat arrogant Bankers are an excellent example. They just couldn't bring themselves to admit they were wrong. Did they show true remorse, no.

So yes I feel angry about them but as I believe in Divine retribution I know I'll have the last laugh. Now where's that Doll and the pins;LOL.
