We are off to the above event on 12th. Coming from Winchester. We would like to stay somewhere relatively, 40-50 miles, close to it. for a few days before the 12th.
Needs are: Accept dogs, only one.
awning, showers, EHU, prefer adults only but not a deal breaker.
Any recommendations? Link would be helpful.

We would put an awning up on long weekend. Don’t see what problem you envisage doing so.

Grethham Caravan and camping site, It is not CCC, just off the A1, and 30 miles south of Newark. Adult only area, FSP. 1/2 mile walk to a dog friendly pub with good food and beer.

There’s a caravan club site and a commercial site at Newark called Smeatons ,next to sugar factory

Wev`e booked 4 nights at Bosworth Lakeside Lodges, Market Bosworth.
Fully serviced, fenced on 3 sides right on the lake. It looks brilliant and about equadistant between home and Newark.
