Take a deep breath while I find my hard hat for protection!!!!!

I assume you mean twin axle , i am going to Spain next month with our 26 foot twin axle for 5 weeks ,and thanks to Val A and some one else who posted on here , i got my camping cheques from the caravan club for

Thanks Joby and yes I thought I was being up there by using the abbreviation for twin axle like some of the fellas do.Its great news and we will definitely be buying the camping cheques now.It is comforting to know exactly how much the trip will cost for us.We have saved loads with the help of people like yourself. The big save for us is using our Tesco vouchers to pay for the tunnel. We pay for everything with our Tesco credit card and settle in full every month so no charges, just loadsa points!!!Even bought a car with it once!!!

Thanks again Joby

Just make sure that there are Camping Cheque/ACSI sites in the areas you want to stay, and that Camping Cheques/ACSI is accepted during the dates you'll be there.

You should have no trouble on most sites, though a few years ago Les Cochards at St Aignan turned away a British TA, and someone on here was told that Camping Municipal at Nevers didn't normally accept twins (access is very tight there) but was allowed on anyway.

As other said, there's no extra charge for TAs.

We always use ACSI card and have done since its first issue nearly 7 years ago. We have tried Camping cheques but with not much success, we got left with some after 2 years which we could not use, as the sites taking them are few and far between in Germany and Austria. They may be are better in France where we do not visit.

We have never had any problems with a twin axle long caravan and never come across a bad site.
