Just thought I'd say hello, after another disappointing week camping in our tent, in scotland, the wife has decided in the future we'd be much better in a caravan. I've thought this for a while (as a kid my mum and dad always had caravans) so now all I need to do is find one thats right for us, not sure what layout would be best, seen a 2nd hand 1996 abbey oxford which I recon I could get for 2600ish comes with all the kit, just wondering if anyone has any experience of these, or vans with end bathrooms in general.

thanks

we have an end bathroom in our elddis hurricane and love it. Having said that, it's our first van so we have nothing to compare it with.

Hi,

We only had our end bathroom van for about 6 months, for the most part we use sites offering facilities so for us we felt the space was wasted. However, my mum and dad have an end bathroom and really love it, they just rally on fields etc. so it works for them. We have no young children either so it really is important to think about what you want personally.

Val.
