Hi all, sorry another water pump issue, I've searched the entire Internet, tried allsorts and still no fix so thought I'd post here.
Caravan is a Swift Sprite 4FB 2015 model with an onboard Flojet pump. I'm away at the moment and no longer have water at the taps, just air. Pump runs fast when taps are turned on and turns over slowly when taps are off, I can hear water bubbling or dripping in the hot water tank so im assuming its running to try and top up the water tank but is blowing in air?Had no issues for first few days. I have tried the following.
-Removed and checked inline filter
-Ran pump without inline filter
-Disconnected pump outlet and can confirm air coming from outlet side
-Disconnected pump inlet and confirm suction
-Checked aquaroll and confirm full and inlet pipe submerged
- Disconnected pump inlet pipework pre filter and sucked on the end (ahem) to prove no blockages and water is available.....got a few good mouth fulls
- Removed, dismantled and reassembled pump, no anomalies found
-Increase pressure by 1/4 turn as per manual but no change
Only thing I can think is the pump lacks suction, I said I can feel suction with my finger but it isn't strong, blocking the outlet with my finger for a few seconds and then removing releases a noticeable pop and rush of air.
Not really sure where to go from here apart from buy a new pump. I'm away again next weekend so want to try and get it sorted. Any help appreciated. Thanks
