Hi all, has anyone been to this site in Antibes. If so, can you cycle anywhere, is there a town close by, what's the entertainment there etc. First hand experience is always the best so looking forward to any answers. Helen.
We've not used the site but it is in a built up area of the town. There is dual carriagwayalong the sea front and full of cars and a campervans in summer, Antibes is a very expensive like a most place along the coast and is surrounded by hills. Having spent 1 hour and more trying to find a parking place prior to boat trips from Antibe I would suggest bikes are a good idea as you may spenda long time getting through the summer traffic apart from parking. I you have little kids you may not be keen to let them on the roads alone even though tthe French are very cycle friendly!
Antibes is surrounded by hills so how far you would want to cycle is up to you.
If you put a French sites address into - www.mappy.com you can view the sites position on aerial photgraphs and see exactly what a sites surroundings are like.
