> I assume with a name like that its near Venice?

Who knows, David?

It could equally well be Club Jesolo XXX in Tirana, or even Jesolo Club Private International (all cards accepted) in Amsterdam.

Who can tell?

The answer is yes, its ideal for the ferry to Venice and a bus to the ferry is just up the road. The site is large and busy, whilst there we observed the mainland Europeans made themselves at home by taking vast arias of space, there being no apparent pitch lines. There is plenty of things available on site and the sandy beach is is adjacent to the camp.

Hi

We had 2 very happy weeks at Camping Cavallino just up the road. All of the sites in that area are spread out alongside the road alongside the gently shelving beach to the adriatic. We alternated between Venice and recovering on the beach. If you want to read my comprehensive review its on the campsite search section of ukcampsite.co.uk under camping Cavallino. I'llhave to go now as I'm writing this outside a computer centre in the square at Argeles Gazost in the Pyrenees.

Regards Tim

Hi Lance, don't worry I understood your post, it only concerned thse who have been to Jesolo/Adriatic anyway as they would have known where it is. I wouldn't bother with Jesolo Club, ten minutes up the road to Cavallino there is a clutch of superier sites. I can reccomend "Garden Paradiso" and "Camping Mediteraneo". As regards Spain, most sites are good because they are so regulated and I have always stayed at 1st Category sites and have not found a bad one. This year stayed at Camping L'Amfora at St Pere Pescador, top notch. Eurocamping at St Antoni de Colonge used a couple of years back, that was great as well. Can I sggest you go to www.touringcheque.co.uk and request their free directory.

Good luck. JTS.
