Hi Sarah, Welcome to a great site. Pity about your allegiance to Cfc never mind I expect you're a nice person other than that?!! You've probably guessed from my nic that I'm a supporter of The Arsenal FC the only British club still in the Champions league! I think neutrals would take a bit more kindly to CFC if your Manager was to behave in a more respectful manner to others rather than styling himself as 'The special One' and saying such inflamatory things about other clubs, players, and the officials.

Incidentally you're right about the 'Chit-chat' and 'non-caravan issues' but there are those on here that seem to think that what they like to do or watch is the right thing and anybody elses choice is wrong, they even sink to childish jibes when they can't get their own way or don't understand a subject enough to comment sensibly! If you don't like it don't read or comment on it is my motto, each to his own. Good luck for the rest of the footie season, although I think Man U can still catch you if you don't start playing in a more consistent manner, you've dropped some very easy points of late!

Hi Sarah, Feel free to talk all you want about the great game, ignore that muppet, he was boring every one to death with his endless drivel on the strike thread.

I.ve drawn Germany in the local sweepstake for the world cup, now following England round Germany with the van would make a great tour.

Sarah seems to have taken the footy jibes quite well :) whilst others resort to handbags at dawn true footy style with name calling.

Agh, the bootiful game that us brits can't play or manage to well. Most of the good players come fron foreign climes and many clubs have to get in an imported manager. The same for the FA, to try and guide old squeaky Beckham the skirt wearing OCD sufferer who is supposed to inspire the team. Pasquale decided against the police, yet Beckham ???

"I'm a through and through Chels,Manu,Toon or Gooner" or whatever yet most of your players probably can't pronounce the name of your club and live miles away to avoid the fans.

So then we have team England led by "Mr Inspiration" with the dodgy habits and flaky temper and bad tempered blunder boy who we have to hope doesn't fall foul of the delights of the Reeperbahn seeing that a scouser grannies were his penchant a while back.

I thought there were 11 in a footy team, seems like we only have 2 so far unless Owen is declared fit and the other guy doesn't go walkabout again. So we may have a four man team ;-)

Now spare a though for all those ladies who might as well be widows as their other halves glaze over for the world cup and even forget the need to earn a crust to feed the family that can't surive on a stash of canned ale :)

So footy fans you think I'm mean, wait to our heroes get to Germany ;-0

I'll be watching along with millions of others, but remember it is only a game that our lot have failed at for 40 years and their are other things and interests in life. ;-)

Well here we go again, name calling.

The sort of abusive childish behaviour that ruins the game.

If I know so little about what did I say that was incorrect ?

The Arsenal v Juventus match was the best match I've seen in a long time.

I have nothing against football fans, what I object to is the media. Swansea City won the Welsh cup during last week and yesterday they won the LDV Trophy by beating Carlisle. What mention did they get on either BBC or ITV - sod all and a small article in the Daily Mail for yesterday's game - nothing about last weeks cup win. The media are only interested in the top flight clubs and England and blow the rank and file club.

Got to disagree Colin. It has nothing to do with Swansea or Wales but to do with money and prestige. I'm sure if Swansea, or Cardiff for that matter had an Abramovich they too would get the publicity. Money talks.

hey gooner!

yes i am a nice person, not a narrowminded footy fan, i can appreciate good football whatever team is playing and if chelsea deserve to get beat by a better team then i would hold my hands up!

think your lot might do a "liverpool" this season and win the champions league...lets hope you can get past barca first though..which is a hard task especially if your'e always playing 10 v 11 (or 10 v 12 - depending on the ref)

no let up this season though - as no summer rest from supporting as we have the world cup....

mmmm, wonder who it will be?

wonder whether they will keep glen roeder?

mind you, in my own personal opinion, think newcastle need to buy some key decent players to mix amongst some good ones there before they have any chance of winning anything.

Personally I don't give a four xxxx for Man U. or Chelsea. As far as I am concerned they are just overpaid and overpriced - how much would it cost for a father to take two lads with him to see 90 minutes of play acting? The Chelsea player who has admitted he had a hand ball and intentional dive should be banned for so many games and the Club should have a minimum of 10 points deducted from their total. This would soon make the managers sit up and take notice of the dirty tricks to which players stoop to these days. Who would want to be a match official with this type of player on the field and when he gives the foul/yellow/red card he has all the verbal abuse going.
