Anybody been to Gitzenweiler Hof - Germany ?

Hi All
Where looking at going to Germany next year, has anybody stayed at Gitzenweiler Hof ?
Size of pitches ?
Facilities on-site ?
Warm welcome & Friendlness ?
Things to do in the surrounding area ?
Carp pool ?
Any info would help us decide.
Cheers

Hello, Have been to this site many times in the Summer months, very enjoyable location, English is spoken at the reception and the welcome has always been brilliant. Lindau is close by and is a must to visit, also its not along journey to the Castles at Fussen. Austria is less than 2 miles away and Switzerland very close. The pitches vary according to your choice, the pool is small but very welcome on the very hot days which are plenty. Carp - I cant answer this question, not a fishing person. The resturants and take aways on site are very clean and welcoming and the food as always lovely.

Hi Trevor

Thanks for posting a reply. We'll you've wetted our appertite.
I guess well pay the extra dosh and super size the pitch... I know some sites you are squeezed in during peak periods. Lindau would certainly be on our list of places to visit. My take the bikes, as we don't do hills........ lazy buggers us.

Thanks again
