anybody been to weymouth and surrounding areas?

fancy taking a holiday on a cc site within the weymouth sort of area.

what are the beaches like?.

what is the area like?.

are there lots of things to do?.

anybody been to the dinosaur museum etc?

any advice would help.

We have just spent Easter at Freshwater Bay Burton Bradstock, Bridport not too far from Weymouth, and had a great time. It was a nice site if a little crowded, but hey what do you expect over Easter.

I also heard good things about Highlands End Farm Holiday Park in Eype nearby you could do worse than going to either of them.

Why boter with the Dinosaur Museum plenty of fun and fossils in the rocks at the base of the cliffs at either site, just take care when out collecting.

We are in the area a lot and can recommend, durdle door holiday park, 10 miles from weymouth and close to poole, wareham, corfe castle monkey world and the tank museum, and stunning coastal views, or east fleet farm a mile or two outside weymouth.

I've never stayed in Weymouth but been there a lot. The beach is lovely and the water is nice and clean. Entertainment on the beach includes punch and judy and bungee swings. Also a nice town centre with lots of shopspubs and cafes.
