I bought a vann from a main dealer in 2006 and it is approaching the time when its second major service is due.
I have attempted the book the van in for its service without success. The dealership were I bought the van has been taken over by a major group (name & shame policy does not allow me to name them but the double spread on page 2 & 3 of the October 2008 PC magazine may give you a clue).
I have three times rang the 0845 number and been informed that the dealership that I want my van to be serviced at will ring me back. Suffice to say that this hasn't happened yet, over one month since my first phone call.
Has anybody else had trouble with this group booking their caravan in for service?
I will ring the local dealership in Cheshire direct myself next week and by-pass the obviously inept service that is currently offered by this new group, but surely the whole point of a centralised number is to avoid the need to do this. Or is this just another case of useless call centre service!
