Aqua roll mains adapter

Hi, we're thinking about making our own adapter for the aqua roll following instructions on an earlier post. We never use the taps to fill kettle, saucepan etc. we also fill up a small canister to make sure that the water is always fresh. Do we need food quality hose if we don't drink the water. Thanks in advance, Helen.

Hellen,

Food quality hose is used so as not to taint the water,

if your not going to consume the water ordinary hose will do,

but beware, use a very strong hose, when the aquaroll is full the hose is subjected to full mains pressure (whatever that is on the site) and turning the tap down to trickle makes no difference, if your hose isn`t stong it will split.

good luck Tony A.

The hose is stamped as food grade and you get 10 metres which is great for France, as they are always further away than here!

I priced it up and I could only just make it for the price they charged including storage bag(just the aquaroll cap was
