Just wondered as some guy was rude - nay abusive - in his response to a Q I asked and I've just posted a helpful response on a different post to the same username .... now I'm not mean enough to tell someone that the site they're thinking of booking is great when it's a dump but it did get me thinking as to whether it was the same guy or not!!

There are some similar names lassie, for example there is a steve and a Steve. There were 2 Chris's on here so I had to change to my aristocratic name although I didn't want my socialite chums to realise I was frequenting with commoners ;O)

I had to change my user name when someone else started to use it.There is no mechanism for warning people that they are trying to register a name that is already in use whether by design or accident.

As I keep on saying, the software needs throwing in the bin in favour of something better.

True but then we are told it would require several bins for several sites.

I tried to log on to Eurosport website and at the second attempt was told that the name was in use.Well that was from my first attempt that I thought had failed if you follow the logic applied to this site
