Area's in the UK that the PC mag could review for future issues

Further to Nigel's comments re looking for ideas for areas that the mag could review.

I would like to see the Fife area in Scotland featured, maybe with a golf course or two mentioned as well as the usual interesting places to visit like St Andrews.

As long as it doesn't go on ad nauseum like the Isle of Wight feature in this months issue.

Also isn't it annoying what a wonderful time the families have. No-one has an arguement or goes off in a strop or sulks because he doesn't get his own way. No-one ever says, "thats it we're never doing this again, I'm off on my own holiday next year-You lot can go to PGL". No-one is ever car sick or ends up at the local GP or worse A&E. The kids have a lovely time and are APPRECIATIVE! No moans of "this is boring" or teens so busy texting their mates at home that they couldn't care less where you have taken them. Meals are easily and nutritiously prepared in the van. Dad never says; can you just give me 5 minutes peace to read the paper. And the awning goes up without a serious arguement.

Tell you what Nigel, shall I write the next one?

I have to agree with Mel about the IOW feature. I found it extremely boring and long winded.

I have to be honest, I wish the features had a little more about the campsites they stayed in, with more picture of the site (toilets, children areas etc...)

Mel and Deborah,

Too long and not 'gritty' enough! Got you. Having been away with Stacie and her kids, I assure you that there are plenty of grizzles and gripes!

Good feedback though. Thanks

Places which could be reviewed:

How about North Wales - say somewhere around the Ffestiniog railway? or Snowdon?, or Anglesey?

Ironbridge Gorge area?

Just over the water into France (perhaps combine with a 'continental touring for newbies article)

Or reviewing things by themes which might interest people:

CLs next to pubs

sites near canals or steam railways

best fishing

etc
