Hi everyone

I have just been told about this amazing site so have registered straight away. I can only say that I find myself in a situation that I can only describe at the moment as challenging....

A brief synopsis, with wife for 26 years I now find myself homeless . I am unable to afford rents in west London anything from 850 - 1200 PM for a tiny studio so as I like to caravans I though why not buy a caravan and live in that ... great but where do I go. I know I want to be closer to my sister in Hertfordshire so any help you can give me as to where to look to site my caravan would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for long term stability but I know you can only stay on site for 11 months before moving off for a break.

Any help would be fantastic as I am homeless as of Friday 28 August 15.

The areas I am really interested in are Borehamwood, Stevenage, Wellwyn, Hatfield, Letchworth and all surrounding areas of there really.

As I said I would be massively grateful for any assistance

Thank you

Hello John,
Sorry to hear of your situation.
The topic of permanent caravan living has been covered in detail in the past so get ready for a long read here: www.practicalcaravan.com/forum/general/1...ermanent-caravanning

When you have had a look, feel free to come back and ask whatever questions you may have.

I'm sorry to read of your troubles, Click Here to see if any campsites are available in Hertfordshire.
There are a few in Bedfordshire and I'm currently staying on a site in Clapham, Beds, which has seasonal touring caravans onsite.
