Asbestos in CI Eccles Topaz 2 Caravan? - Advice Please?

Hi all, hope someone can help.

We've got a CI Eccles Topaz 2 (not 100% on the year).

We recently picked up an old CI Eccles Topaz 2, and we've been renovating it.
I've come across some Asbestos behind a metal sheet near the hob, which I've read is comen.

My concern now is if there is any asbestos elsewhere is the caravan before I continue with the renovation, any help would be appreciated?
I've attached some photos of the Caravan which may help identify it, thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

My guess is that it was put there as a heat shield, either originally or at a later date.

I therefore doubt there will be anymore elsewhere.

Nice set of pictures which show an old van which has been well looked after.

Hi Liam, did you ever receive any further information on this topic? Did you continue with the renovation? Im asking as we have just purchased a 1984 Eccles Topaz and we want to renovate but would like to know if there is any asbestos in the van. Thanks
