I am going to stay in Austria for one night on my way down to Bosnia

Has anybody stayed at the following site Terrassen Cpg Ossiachersee

Any information would be appreciated

We stayed there in 1992! Perfectly nice terraced campsite right on the lake. I expect it may have changed a bit since we were there.

John, We have just spent 6 weeks on a site, Jodl Camping a little further along the lake than Camping Terrassen Ossiach which is a large quite commercial site.

Camping Jodl is Family run and is excellent we have been there 7 years running. Has just 90 pitches all with a view of the wonderful See. Facitlities excellent too. The web site for Jodl is www.camping-jodl.at Good Luck are you going out of season as this is an ACSI card site and only 15 euros a night then. You can book a pitch without having to pay deposit, it is advisable as this area is very popular.

Hi, we are in Ausrtia at Camping Nateresee at the moment. We have found on previous sites that in addition to the ACSI price Tourist tax at about 1 Euro per person per night and Umwelt tax at about 2.5 Euros per night have to be paid. This makes the sites a bit more expensive than we had anticipated; still good value though, and some outstanding sites (and sights)here!

We spent 4 nights at Kramsach just East of Nattersse last week and then 2 nights near Bludenz before coming here to Switzerland on Wednesday. Here for 4 more days and then to the Black Forest for a few days. Weather excellent 26 deg cent here today 35 deg cent in Ossiach I heard in an email this evening from there.
