Its jason again with the 1998 Abbey Domino. Our abbey has fibre glass sides. Has anyone used autoglym on this type of caravan before, I have tested it on a small area and it really makes it shine. I was a little unsure wether in time the autoglym polish would cause any problems by way of a reaction with the fibre glass or the paint finish on the fibre glass sides.

thanks Jason and Sally.

Jason, Auto Glym has been used on fibreglass cars for years with no ill effects, and on all kinds of fibreglass items with no ill effects.

Jason, Damian is right but I assume you are using Super Resin Polish. It produces excellent results but you must finish it off with a wax over the top otherwise your paint will go dull very quickly. Autoglym do compatible waxes such as Ultra Deep Shine which are very good although you will have to reapply the wax at least twice a year. If you use an "aggressive" cleaner you may have to reapply it every time as it will get stripped off. Use Autoglym's shampoo and you won't go far wrong. Waxing is tedious but it will look great when finished! Good luck!

I do my van at the beginning of the vanning season, after washing the crapp/muck off I use Autoglym super Resin Polish which is a wax then I use Autoglym After Gloss Protection. I only do this once a year but do wash it when needed using Poundland Wash n Wax
