Avondale curtains

Picked up new van today (we are newbies) Left the van in storage and pulled all curtains shut and the front curtains don't meet in the middle! (about 2 feet gap.) Phoned the dealer and this model (Avondale Arrow) only had dress curtians at the front which are not meant to meet! Can buy proper fitting ones for over £120 extra! Didn't have anything else to put up window so turned all the cushions over as didn't want the brilliant sunshine today to start fading our gorgeous new upholostery straight away! Can't believe the curtains are not meant to be pulled across! We were advised not to leavre the blind down for too long becuiase it can affect tension.

Hi, What a load of rubbish I ever heard from a dealer, curtains don't meet in the middle, Don't pull all your blind down that is true it will affect tension, What we do the front window we cut the right size cardboard to fit and all the other side window and the one in the shower wash room, we use black dustbin bags, just get hold of few washing pegs and clip them on to the top of the blind with the bags at the same time, been doing this for years, it will save the curtain and carpet ect, This will stop the sun fading inside of your lovely new van,
