Avondale Custom problem with suspension

Hi, can anyone help with suspension query on my 1994 Avondale Custom 2 berth can. The suspension is very hard. The van is very jerky when pulling. Is this normal for this van or should i remove the axel and replace something?

Have the indespension units checked, I have had problems on boat trailers where corrosion locks the unit solid, if the caravan has been on salted roads a lot this may be the problem

Hi Gary, thank you for replying. Do you know if or how i could check the indespension units myself or would i need to take it to a dealer/specialist? Thanks.
