I am wanting to invest in a good awning that will stand me in good stead for winter caravanning as well as summer. The Inaca Elba model looks fantastic but is rather expensive. The other one that has caught my eye is the Pyramid Tuscany(a much cheaper prospect). Does anyone have any experience of either of these awnings? I really would appreciate all your comments.

We have a Tuscany, brought July this year.

Ace quality for the price. no problems what so ever with it and I recommend it. Although the likes of Isabella will be higher quality and longer lasting but at 3 x the price!

Ya get what ya pay for in the end.

I know you haven't had it over the winter, but how do you think it will handle. Is the material good and sturdy or is it flimsy and thin?

Hi, If you keep your eyes open either on eBay, or caravan mags etc you will be able to buy an Isabella or Trio without to much trouble, they are the cream. As we are approaching the end of the main caravan season people may not be advertising them as much now but March/April/May is a good time. They are frequently cropping up so I'd hang on and when you see your size, ask plenty of questions and go and see it if at all possible. Many are hardly used. Hope this helps a little.
