Awning Elastics.

You know, those rubbery things that tend to fall apart when they get a bit old. First Q is: how to keep in good condition?.: or: how to fix new ones?

Hi Terry, I don't think there's much you can do stop them deteriorating but replacement is pretty easy. You can by them from most caravan dealers or outdoor shops (ie Millets, Blacks etc). You need to buy them a bit longer than the originals then you pass them through the anchor points on the awning and loop them over themselves. At least that's what I've always done!
