Now I think this has been asked so please forgive me.

My Pat says on the awning the bottom skirt, it go's inside.

I would have said go's out side with pegs on rubber bands in side.

So I put on ebay to look at some caravans with awnings on, guess what I found 2 one Pats way and other my way.

Pat says it must go inwards as that is the way the curtains fix that side.

Any help ?

watching this post reg, i am also waiting for the initial erection :) and i have been looking at all the poles and parts of the awning lying on the back garden and wondering where it all goes. i have seen some with the pegs inside and also outside, but looking at mine they would need to beoutside as the rubbers are there.

Depends on the make & model of the awning. Some mudskirts go inside with pegs on the outside and vice versa for others.

Personally I prefer the style where they go inside and the groundsheet goes on top, seems to cut down on draughts. I did have one where the pegs were on the inside and the bonus there was that when it was raining you could peg it down without getting wet.
