Awning light ?

Hello all,

I bought a cheap rechargeable lantern for our awning which worked fine for a while thaen stopped recharching, took it back got a refund. Anyway any suggestions on a good rechargeable or mains lamp thats good for the Awning, thanks Kim.
 
I use a very beautiful gas lamp inherited from my mom.It has the chimney and decorated globe,it runs off a mantle. Soft light but not as good for reading by so we are also thinking of buying an electric strip light as we now have a much bigger awning.We are looking for a suitable one so any advice would be good.I always preferred the gas lights when we owned a static many years ago!
