Awning light

Hi, we have a 2015 Swift Corniche and wondering if it is on all Swift vans, when we are on hook up and set the alarm the awning light comes on and can only be turned off with the alarm fob and the same happens when we turn it off?
 
The awning light has a delayed action switch for the light.
If you lock the van, with key and then set alarm, the light should turn off after bout 50/60 seconds.
Like when you return, turn the alarm off and awning light comes on to help show door lock.
Enter van and light goes off in few seconds.
My Swift is 2015 also.
