Having had a very bad experience with 2 air awnings, one of them a Kampa, I’d recommend looking for a secondhand Isabella Magnum. Far superior materials and construction, they’re a doddle to put up and take down. It won’t leak rainwater or run with condensation and because all the legs are adjustable for height will sit perfectly on an uneven or sloping pitch.
Size for size you’ll find the Isabella has more useable space as it doesn’t have the sloping front.

Used Isabella Magnum Porch Awning look on Ebay, ,preloved, gumtree ,freeads .. Caravan Club Classifield Adverts ,

Air or Pole?

Ive had the poled version for approx 8 seasons now, yes it looks grubby but has no rips or tears and has been out in some very atrocious wheather conditions.
I over come the condensation issue simply buy leaving the two end door flaps open at the top to allow air flow.
When I do replace I will still go for a pole version as over the years reading certain issues others have had with the air, mine would end up in a skip.

regarding the isabella ,yes thats defo on my list for nxt year.

I am getting the kampa very cheap from a friend and its only been used one season so that will do me this season πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I will admit, that when buying our first caravan, 13 years ago, it came with a starter kit, aqua roll, waste roll, battery, and a full Dorema Awning, I used it once, At Summners Ponds, our first time of staying somewhere for a week. The heavy full awning did not apeal to me . It took ages to sell it, eventually gave it away for Β£50.
We went through different very cheap porch awnings, and finalising on a 3/4 Poled Carbonlite and a Sunncamp 220 air. Both work well in the winter , but we don't sit out in them , we have a caravan not a tent. Studio_20200527_164605.jpgStudio_20200527_164605.jpg

I was looking at those sunncamps, looks ideal for long weekends , easy and quick so more beer time lol.

I am the same we won't be sitting in awning just need storage for chairs etc and shelter for in and out caravan.

You’ll be fine then. We use our awning all the time when we’re away, see it as an extension to the caravan rather than just somewhere to park coats and boots.
